Maximilian von Kern

Maximilian Kern , from 1860 von Kern , (born February 15, 1813 in Rottweil ; † April 14, 1887 in Stuttgart ) was a lawyer , judge and politician .

Life

After taking private lessons with Christian Friedrich von Dettinger and attending grammar school in Stuttgart, Kern studied law at the University of Tübingen . After holding positions at courts in Tübingen and Ulm , Kern became senior magistrate in Rottweil in 1847 . Under the Justice Minister Karl Friedrich German von Hänlein , he became the office director in the Department of Justice and a member of the penal college.

In 1854, Kern was appointed senior tribunal advisor at the Stuttgart upper tribunal , and in 1865 director of the district court in Esslingen am Neckar . In 1869 he was appointed director of the Stuttgart District Court. From 1871 he was also on the board of the penal college. From 1872 to 1879 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Württemberg estates for the Oberamt Gaildorf .

In 1879, Kern was appointed President of the Stuttgart Higher Regional Court. From 1885 he was also President of the State Court of the Kingdom of Württemberg . 1886 was carried out ceremony of the title and rank Privy Council, the dislocation in the retirement .
