Maximiliano Eduardo Meza (born January 15, 1992 in the Department of General Paz , Corrientes Province ) is an Argentinian football player .

Career

societies

Meza started his career in the youth of Gimnasia y Esgrima . The first use for the professionals took place on December 10, 2012 in the Primera B Nacional game against Deportivo Merlo. In the 2012/13 promotion season, he played a total of 14 games

On September 18, 2016, he moved to Independiente . Here he made his competitive debut four days later in the round of 16 of the Copa Sudamericana 2016 against Chapecoense . In the Copa Sudamericana 2017 he scored a total of three goals, one of which was 2-0 in the final first leg against Flamengo Rio de Janeiro .

National team

In March 2018 Meza was for the friendlies against Italy and Spain in the senior team nominated. He made his debut on the 27th of the month against Spain, that game ended in a 6-1 defeat. Meza was named to Argentina's squad for the World Cup in Russia on May 21, 2018 .
