Maxwell Valentine Noronha
Maxwell Valentine Noronha (born February 14, 1926 in Kayamkulam , † January 28, 2018 in Kozhikode ) was an Indian clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Calicut .
Life
Maxwell Valentine Noronha was ordained a priest on October 5, 1952 .
Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Calicut on June 7, 1980. The bishop emeritus of Calicut, Aldo Maria Patroni SJ , donated him episcopal ordination on September 7th of the same year . Co- consecrators were Joseph Kelanthara , Archbishop of Verapoly , and Joseph Gabriel Fernandez , Bishop of Quilon .
On April 19, 2002, John Paul II accepted his age-related resignation.
