history

Me & Reas was launched in 2009 by Andreas Jäger as a singer-songwriter project. Initially conceived as a solo project with various guest musicians, from 2013 the project developed into a permanent band that has since played together with the same line-up. After two self-produced and distributed solo albums, From My Window Ledge, the band's first long player together , appeared at the end of 2013. The EP Where We Know All The Names (Radicalis, Believe) followed in October 2016.

In 2013, Me & Reas was chosen as the winner of the national Radio Energy Newcomer Contest, which offered the band their first record deal. As a result, Me & Reas also played in the opening act for well-known artists such as Hurts , John Newman , Namika , Mighty Oaks , Mark Forster , Cassandra Steen , Hundreds , Glasperlenspiel and The Whiskey Foundation .

The band was awarded the title “Bavarian Band of the Week” by the youth channel Puls of the Bavarian Broadcasting Corporation in October 2014 and May 2016.
