In Zimmerhausen there was an arable farm, two sheep farms, eight farmers, four cottagers and a schoolmaster, a total of 22 households (“fire places”). At that time Zimmerhausen belonged to Beata Sophia Christiana von Platen, born von Blücher.

A political manor district and a rural community existed side by side in Zimmerhausen since the 19th century . In 1910, 416 inhabitants were counted in the Zimmerhausen manor district and 115 inhabitants in the rural community of Zimmerhausen.

Later the manor district was incorporated into the rural community. In 1925 Zimmerhausen had 703 inhabitants in 134 households. In addition to Zimmerhausen, Henningswalde , Kardemin , Moritzhof and Sandkrug lived in the community .
