Mechthild Roswitha Freifrau Scheurl von Defersdorf (born November 23, 1952 in Erlangen ) is a German linguist and book author . She heads the Lingva Eterna Institute for Conscious Language in Erlangen.

Life

Mechthild Roswitha Scheurl von Defersdorf , from a patrician family in Nuremberg , was born in Erlangen in 1952. Her father was a school priest at the Wilhelm Löhe School in Nuremberg . Her grandfather Eberhard Freiherr Scheurl von Defersdorf (1873–1952), professor of constitutional and administrative law at the Nuremberg Commercial College, was from 1925 to 1946 President of the Pegnese Flower Order . Her maternal grandfather was the New Testament scholar and politician Hermann Strathmann (1882–1966).

Mechthild Scheurl von Defersdorf attended the Wilhelm Löhe School in Nuremberg, where she passed the Abitur in 1972. She then studied Romance languages , English and Arabic at the University of Erlangen . In 1974/75 she studied at the University of Rennes in France . Her most important teachers were the Romance studies and linguist Arnulf Stefenelli (1938–2002) and the orientalist Wolfdietrich Fischer (1928–2013).

She passed her exams for the first two subjects in 1977. She chose a cross-disciplinary topic for her admission work. In 1979 she passed her exams for Arabic in Erlangen.

Scheurl von Defersdorf heads the Lingva Eterna Institute for Conscious Language , which she founded in 1999 . Since 2004 she has been working with the doctor and psychotherapist Theodor von Stockert . Together they further developed the "language and communication concept" they founded and trained Lingva Eterna lecturers. You worked for many years with the Benedictine monk Father Anselm Grün .

Scheurl von Defersdorf is active as a journalist and used the author's name Roswitha Defersdorf for many years.

In 2005 she met the musician and actor Werner Mönch la Dous (1924–2011). In collaboration with Scheurl von Defersdorf, he created his textbook, Healthy Voice, Powerful Language .

She is a member of the Pegnese Flower Order .
