Megumi Emura ( Japanese 江村 恵 , Emura Megumi ; born January 24, 1980 in Niigata Prefecture ) is a Japanese biathlete and cross-country skier .

Megumi Emura attended school in Tsunan , Niigata Prefecture and studied at Ryūkoku University . The sports soldier of Tōki Sengi Kyōikutai (Tōsenkyō), for whom she also competes, is trained by Fukushi in Sapporo . Between 2001 and 2003 she competed in around ten races in the Cross-Country Continental Cup and achieved multiple single-digit results. In 2002 Emura started biathlon. At the beginning of the 2004/05 season , she made her debut in the European Biathlon Cup and was 44 in her first race, an individual in Geilo . In the same place, she achieved her best result in the second highest international racing series with a 33rd place in a sprint of biathlon. In the further course of the season , the debut in the biathlon world cup followed . Emura contested her first race at Holmenkollen in Oslo . In this individual, the Japanese was 94. Towards the end of the season, another assignment in Cesana San Sicario followed . With the season of Japan, Emura came in eighth alongside Tomomi Ōtaka , Kanae Meguro and Ikuyo Tsukidate .
