Mehdi Moradpour
Mehdi Moradpour (* 1979 in Tehran ) is an author , playwright , court interpreter and translator .
Life
Mehdi Moradpour grew up as the son of Azerbaijani parents in Tehran. He studied physics and industrial engineering in Iran. In 2001 he broke off his studies and came to Germany. After learning the German language and completing technical training, he began studying Spanish , sociology , American and Arabic studies in Leipzig and Havana in 2004 . He worked in various functions in the independent theater scene in Leipzig and Berlin and wrote journalistic articles on theater and culture. From 2014 to 2016 he attended the “Forum Text” ( Drama Forum ) course at uniT Graz .
Moradpour is an award-winning author. His plays have been translated several times. He works as an author, interpreter and translator for Persian (Farsi / Dari) and Spanish .
