Mehmed Alispahić (born November 24, 1987 in Bugojno , Socialist Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina ) is a Bosnian-Herzegovinian football player . His preferred position is right midfield.

NK Iskra Bugojno

In his youth, Alispahić played for NK Iskra Bugojno , a club from his native Bugojno. At the beginning of the 2008/09 season he moved to HNK Šibenik , with whom he plays in the Hrvatska Nogometna Liga . He followed his former teammate Ermin Zec , who was also transferred from Bugojno to Šibenik in 2007.

HNK Šibenik

On July 27, 2008 he came to his first professional appearance in the game against Inter Zaprešić and put on for his team-mate Ivan Bozić in the 63rd minute of the game for a 2-0 opening goal. The game ended 3-2 for HNK Šibenik and at the same time ensured victory on the first day of the season. He scored his first goal on August 31 of the same year against NK Zagreb . It was the opening goal in the 15th minute of the game. The game ended in a 1-1 draw. In its first season at HNK Šibenik, the team made it to 6th place in the highest Croatian football league. The record of the first season is remarkable. In 31 games scored four goals and also put on five goals. In his sophomore year at Šibenik, he scored 7 goals in 28 games and put on 7 more. He finished the 2009/10 season with his team in 4th place in the league and was also in the Croatian Cup final. From the 2011/12 season he will play for the Croatian record champions Dinamo Zagreb. He joins the Croatian football league for free.

NK Dinamo Zagreb

On July 13, 2011 he came in the game against the Azerbaijani champions Neftchi Baku PFC to his first appearance for Dinamo Zagreb and put on for his team-mate Milan Badelj in the 37th minute to the 1-0 opening goal. The game ended 3-0 (1-0) for Dinamo Zagreb and at the same time ensured the first half of the second round of qualifying for the 2011/2012 UEFA Champions League season. Mehmed came from HNK Šibenik, the Croatian fourth-placed in the 2010/2011 season, to Zagreb on a free transfer and signed until 2015. He made his league debut for Dinamo on July 23, 2011 in a 2-0 home win on the first matchday of the new season against Inter Zaprešić . Alispahić was substituted on for Sammir in the 74th minute. It is interesting that Alispahić was also used against Inter Zaprešić on his first appearance for Šibenik in the Croatian football club. In both cases, his team won without conceding a goal. For the Croatian record champions Mehmed Alispahić completed 30 league games and scored five goals.

HNK Rijeka

In January 2013 he changes again within the highest Croatian football league free of charge. He will sign a contract in the Istrian city until June 30, 2017.

National team

Alispahić completed two full international matches for the Bosnian-Herzegovinian national team. On May 29, 2010 he played his first game for the Bosnian-Herzegovinian national soccer team . In the friendly against Sweden he was substituted on for Boris Pandža at half- time. The game ended 4-2 for Sweden. On August 10, 2010, he played his second game in the friendly against Qatar. The game ended in a 1-1 draw. Alispahić came on as a substitute for Zvjezdan Misimović in the 78th minute .

In the 2009/2010 season he played with the HNK Šibenik in the Croatian Cup final against the HNK Hajduk Split . Hajduk Split won both finals - 2: 1 and 0: 2.
