The Meißner 8 is a two-part cycle ring path through the district of Meißen and the Lommatzscher Pflege in Saxony . The route leads along the region's roads with little traffic, the Elbe Cycle Route and the route of the former Wilsdruff – Gärtitz narrow-gauge railway .

The cycle path is divided into two subnets to the south and north:

  1. Meißner 8 north route : Meißen - Zehren - Daubnitz - Leutewitz - Görna - Garsebach - Meißen with a route length of 35.9 km;
  2. Meißner 8 south route : Meißen - Garsebach - Taubenheim - Sora - Kleinschönberg - Constappel - Wildberg - Gauernitz - Meißen with a length of 36.8 km.
