Garsebach is a district of the municipality of Klipphausen in the district of Meißen , Saxony . It is located in the north of the municipality and consists of Ober- and Niedergarsebach, which lies on the Triebisch . Garsebach Switzerland is named after Garsebach and is considered to be the largest Pechstein deposit on earth. Neighboring towns are Semmelsberg , Meißen - Buschbad , Robschütz and Meißen- Dobritz . The village was first mentioned in 1228. In 1939 Semmelsberg was incorporated, on July 1, 1950 Robschütz. In addition to Burkhardswalde-Munzig and Miltitz , Garsebach was one of the three founding communities of Triebischtal in 1994. Since July 1, 2012 the place has been part of the municipality of Klipphausen. The athlete Ernst Schmidt came from Garsebach . In addition, the German soccer player Michael Lerchl played for the TSV Garsebach club.
