Michael Lerchl (born August 9, 1986 in Windhoek , Namibia ) is a German soccer player .

Career

Lerchl came to Freising shortly after his birth , where he grew up until the reunification. After that he lived first in Meissen , later in Dresden .

In 2001 he joined the youth team of FC Bayern Munich via TSV Garsebach and Dynamo Dresden . Michael Lerchl won the German A youth championship with the youth team of FC Bayern Munich . In 2004/05 he returned to Dresden and made the leap into the 2nd Bundesliga .

For the 2007/08 season Lerchl moved to Energie Cottbus , where he was mainly used in the second team in order to slowly work his way up to the professional team. On July 2, 2009, his move to RB Leipzig was announced. In 2010 he left the club after just one season. Until the summer of 2015 he played for SSV Markranstädt , with whom he was promoted to the southern season of the Oberliga Nordost in 2012 . Since 2015 Lerchl has been playing for SV Blau-Weiß Zorbau , with whom he also made it to the southern season of the Oberliga Nordost in 2018. After the 2019/20 season, the midfielder ended his career there.
