The Meier Peak is a 3,450 m high mountain in the Admiralty Mountains in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It rises 6 km south-southwest of Mount Minto on the southern flank of the Ironside Glacier .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own measurements and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1960 to 1963. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1970 after Lieutenant Commander Miron D. Meier of the US Navy Reserve Forces, helicopter pilot of the VX-6 squadron during Operation Deep Freeze in 1967 and 1968.
