Melanie Heep (born January 24, 1994 in Solingen ) is a German soccer player who plays for the regional league team of VfL Bochum .
Career
societies
Melanie Heep began her football career at Solingen Sportclub 95/98 and came to FCR 2001 Duisburg via Sportring Höhscheid in 2005 . In 2009 she reached the final of the German championship with the FCR B-Juniors , but failed there on penalties against Turbine Potsdam . For the 2010/11 season Heep moved to the Bundesliga club Bayer 04 Leverkusen . The midfielder was initially active there for the B-Juniors and has been part of the Leverkusen national league squad since the 2011/12 season . On August 21, 2011, she made her Bundesliga debut in the game against Bayern Munich , when she came on for Lisa Schwab in the 75th minute . After seven other first division appearances, she left Leverkusen at the end of the 2012/13 season and, after a one-year football break, joined the second division VfL Bochum for the 2014/15 season . Due to forced relegation since the 2015/16 season, she plays in the Regionalliga West, but continues to play for VfL Bochum.
National team
Heep completed her first game for the U-15 national team on April 15, 2009 in a 5-0 win against the Netherlands , for which she was used in a total of five games and scored two goals. In 2010 she made four appearances for the U-16 national team and also made her debut in the U-17 national team , for which she played two games.
