Melanie Heizmann
Melanie Heizmann (born April 4, 1972 in Ahlen ) is a German singer and music producer .
Career
Her parents are the singer and songwriter Hella Heizmann (1951–2009) and the composer and editor Klaus Heizmann (born 1944). Together with her sister Viola, born in 1974, she grew up in Mühltal / Trautheim near Darmstadt. There she made her first stage experiences at the Darmstadt State Theater, where she appeared as a child statistician in the productions "Die ver Zauberierter Brüder" and "Peterchen's Mondfahrt". The first studio productions followed in the mother's children's choir.
In 1984 she moved to St. Goar / Rhein, where she attended the "Wilhelm-Hoffmann-Gymnasium" in St. Goarshausen. She received piano lessons from Joachim Heß in Mainz and singing lessons from Monika Prina. She went on Christmas tours in a trio with mother Hella Heizmann and sister Viola as well as tours with “Hella and her rascals”: “The writing on the wall” and “The wedding in Cana”.
After graduating from high school in 1992, she went to Paris as an au pair. This was followed by a visit to the Inlingua foreign language correspondent school in Koblenz. In 1994 she moved to Eppstein / Wiesbaden, where she and her mother Hella organized children's concerts, children's free time and CD productions.
1997 followed a move to Cologne and the beginning of the self-employment as a singer. She went on tour with " Guildo Horn and the Orthopedic Stockings", Peter Kraus "Rockin 'Santa", and had appearances in the background choir of the WDR Big Band for Wencke Myhre , background singer for " Deutschland sucht den Superstar ", and others Appearances as a background singer in programs such as TV Total ( Kylie Minogue ), Let's Dance and Popstars , appearances in a jazz duo with Marcus Schinkel and Martin Sasse , vocal recordings for programs on ZDF . 1997–2002 she worked as a performance artist and living doll for Living Media, Cologne.
Since 1997 she has been a singer for commercials (Bacardi, Mercedes-Benz, Fa, Vernel, D 2 Mannesmann, Nivea, Bahlsen, Ratiopharm, Karstadt, Kamps, Mattel Barbie, Monster High). From 2006 she took part in the founding of the acoustic quartet "LoLa - Finest Acoustic Music" with Markus Gahlen, Migo Fecke and Marcel Mader. This was followed by three CD productions, appearances across Europe at events for customers such as Audi, Unity Media, FIFA, VW, McDonald's Kinderhilfegala, Dow Chemical, Porsche, Mediamarkt, Mahle, Allianz, concerts at "Music in the Houses of the City" in Cologne, SOL Kulturbar in Mülheim / Ruhr, Pullman Bar Cologne and Jazzrallye Düsseldorf.
In 2011 she recorded the jazz duo CD "Calling Cards On A Silver Tray" with the pianist Marcus Schinkel . In 2014 she had a concert activity and CD recording with the guitarist Markus Gahlen as the acoustic duo "Le Flow". In 2015 he founded his own music label “Wunderlandmusik” and produced the CD “If I was a cloud” with poems set to music by Mascha Kaléko for “playful children of all ages”. Artistic collaboration by: Marcus Schinkel, Wim de Vries , Fritz Roppel, Gabriel Pérez , Ella Rohwer, Rüdiger Baldauf , Berthold Matschat , Migo Fecke, Ralf Kemper, Veit Semrau, Klaus Genuit and Irina Rasimus. “It's raining flowers on the fields” was the song of the week in the children's radio channel of the WDR . With this program she gives concerts for the family.
Melanie Heizmann lives in Cologne with her daughter, who was born in 2011 .
