Melissa Errico

Melissa Errico (born March 23, 1970 in New York City ) is an American actress and musician .

biography

Errico grew up with her two siblings in Manhasset , Long Island took ballet lessons there and actually wanted to be a gymnast until she sustained a knee injury at the age of twelve.

She was soon offered a role on the US children's show Great Space Coaster , which brought her a little fame. After graduating from high school, she studied art history and philosophy at the acclaimed Yale University before graduating with several awards. Acting is her great passion for which she took classical acting lessons at Oxford University in England in order to get good role offers.

A terrific theater career followed. She made her Broadway debut in Anna Karenina , followed by My Fair Lady and other roles. Then she tried her hand at television again, but gave up and returned to the stage.

In 2003 Errico released her critically acclaimed debut album Blue Like That . She has been married to Patrick McEnroe since 1998 .
