Melitta Thomas is a former German soccer player .

Career

Thomas was a midfielder with TSV Siegen from 1985 to 1988 and played in the Regionalliga West , the first cross-association league in German women's football - consisting of the associations Westphalia , Lower Rhine and Middle Rhine . Twice as first and once as third place , she and her club qualified three times for the finals of the German championship . But only on June 28, 1987, she and her team reached the final, which was won 2-1 against FSV Frankfurt in front of 6,400 spectators in Siegener Leimbachstadion .
