Capital Bra released his fourth studio album Berlin Lives in June 2018 and separated from his label Team Kuku. At the beginning of July, the first guest article about ersguterjunge appeared with Für Sie alle Capital Bras. In early August, he announced on Instagram that he had recorded a song with Juju. Melodien was released on August 3, 2018 as Capital Bra's first single release via egj. The production was again taken over by The Cratez , who produced, among other things, Capital Bra's last four number one hits. For them it was the seventh number one hit in eight months. The music video was produced by Orkan Çe. The video had more than 86 million views on YouTube on June 26, 2020.
Chart successes
Melodien entered the German single charts on August 10th. The song became his sixth number one hit in a row in Germany. It was also his first number one hit in Switzerland. Juju was able to reach the top of the German and Swiss single charts for the first time.
