Berlin Lives 2 is a collaboration album by rappers Capital Bra and Samra . It was released on October 4, 2019 on the  major label Universal Urban .

Berlin Lives 2 is the first collaboration album of the two rappers. It is the seventh recorded studio album for Capital Bra , while Samra has released an album for the first time. Samra originally wanted to release his album Malboro Rot on September 13, 2019. Due to Berlin lives 2 , the release of the album under the new name Jibrail & Iblis has been postponed to February 28, 2020. Berlin Lives 2 is a homage to Capital Bra's fourth album Berlin Lives , which at that time reached the first place in the album charts in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Kalazh44 , Nico Santos and LEA appear as guest musicians . The album was produced by Djorkaeff and Beatzarre . The lyrics were written by Capital Bra and Samra themselves.

Five singles were released from Berlin lives 2 : Tilidin , Zombie , Huracan , number 1 and 110. In addition, a music video was shot for the title Berlin lives like never before . On the day the album was released, Capital Bra posted an IGTV video for the title Satellite on Instagram . All singles reached the top 10 in Austria, Germany and Switzerland.

In addition to its standard edition, the album is also available as a box set . In addition to the main work, this includes the EP Nix gives Balazh by rapper Kalazh44 , a longsleeve , a cap and a poster .

Music and lyrics

Berlin lives 2 consists of hip-hop and rap .

Often included are songs with a refrain that is sung three times in the song twice in a row, but is sung an octave higher when repeated . This stylistic device was used in the plays Tilidin, Huracan, Kriminal 2, So alone and Zombie .

Cover design

The cover shows the two rappers at night in Russian crouching in front of the Brandenburg Gate . Both show the finger and smoke. Samra and Capital Bra as well as the Brandenburg Gate are illuminated and easy to see. Otherwise the cover is black . The names of the two rappers can be read in the top left corner. In the middle in front of the two rappers you can read the words Berlin lives 2 in red and white .
