For you all is a song by the German rapper Bushido from 2018, which he recorded together with the musicians Samra and Capital Bra . The second single from Bushido's thirteenth solo album Mythos was written by the three artists and composed and produced by The Cratez .

Music and lyrics

For all of you , compared to the rest of the album, it is less oriented towards old school hip-hop , but rather towards the current chart sound of trap music . The melodic, poppy refrain, in which every line ends in phonetic singing , also shows strong parallels to the Afro-rap . Although Bushido is given as the main artist, Capital Bra takes over most of the vocals of the song; he sings in the chorus and raps the first verse. His voice is auto-tuned in the hook and in the second half of the first verse . The second verse is rapped by Samra, the third by Bushido. However, Bushido adds a line in the Capital Bras part, while this is in the contributions of the other two Adlibs .

The background to the text is an overlap of several events in the professional and private environment of the performers. On the one hand, Bushido separated from his long-time business partner and friend Arafat Abou-Chaker because of the excessive control of the artist, which caused a stir in the media and caused radical upheavals for the rapper and his record label ersguterjunge . As a result, his family said they experienced violent reactions and anxiety. After the musicians Shindy , Ali Bumaye , AK Ausserkontrolle and Laas Unltd. were no longer part of the label, attempts were made to establish two new artists at Bushido's side: Samra and Capital Bra. The latter experienced a similar situation, but from the other side, when he separated from his label Team Kuku . This theme is also in sections of two YouTube - Videos taken, which are recorded at the beginning of the song.

According to the background story, Bushido and Capital Bra reveal their side of the action in For You All and deny having acted out of greed . The former says in particular that he now has complete freedom and nothing more can be said, while the latter asserts that he has not changed due to the success and the money , but that his environment was influenced by it. In comparison, Samra's verse is written less personally and functions as a genre-typical self-expression.

Music video

In the music video for For You All , the three performers appear together in several different settings and perform the song, whereby the individual musicians can often be seen smoking . In a recurring sequence, the rappers drive around town in a car , with Bushido at the steering wheel , Samra in the back seat and Capital Bra on the roof of the vehicle. Another popular location is a large park area where Capital Bra dances, drinks and raps. In some scenes he and Samra are also in a hotel room and partying on the bed . All three also rest in front of a Brando’s Shisha bar . The actors often act in front of walls that are sprayed with graffiti . During the line in which Bushido Capital welcomes Bra as the newest member of his label, Bra opens a box containing a high-priced watch . The video had over 50.9 million views on YouTube on June 26, 2020.

criticism

For all of you received positive reviews. Particular interest was given to the verse of Bushido, which was taken as a clear announcement against his former friend Arafat Abou-Chaker, and which would clarify some open questions about the musician's whereabouts with former companions at the time. The high hit potential of the song was also praised , as well as its modern sound, with which Bushido would prove to be able to cope with contemporary songs.
