Stress without a reason is a song by the German rappers Shindy and Bushido . The publication took place on July 12, 2013 on the album NWA , which was indexed with effect from July 19, 2013 by the Federal Testing Office for media harmful to minors. On July 11, 2013, the song was presented to the public as a music video. On June 3, 2015, the Higher Administrative Court for the State of North Rhine-Westphalia lifted the indexing, the decision is final.

Reception and criminal charges
The song was heavily criticized. The lines of text “I want Serkan Tören to bite the grass now.” And “I shoot Claudia Roth and she gets holes like a golf course.” Were interpreted by some media as a public call for murder. “ Anti-gay slogans” were also criticized . The politicians mentioned in the song made negative comments about the song. Klaus Wowereit ( SPD ) and Serkan Tören ( FDP ) filed criminal charges . Other people mentioned are Oliver Pocher , Cindy from Marzahn and rapper Kay One . Renate Künast ( The Greens ) called for an investigation against Bushido. Green manager Volker Beck condemned the play as a call to murder. Wolfgang Bosbach ( CDU ) said the "death threat" was a "very serious process". Heino demanded that Bushido's “criminal energy must urgently be stopped”; In addition, the Bambi should be withdrawn from him . Heino had already given back his own Bambi after Bushido had also received the award. The Federal Testing Agency for Media Harmful to Young People temporarily put the album with the song on the index. NWA content would appear “brutal”, encourage “violence” and discriminate against women and homosexuals.
In a television interview, Bushido denied that the song was a call to violence: “I want to make it clear that it should by no means be a call to violence. It is of course provocative. In September 2013, the Berlin public prosecutor brought charges against Bushido of sedition , insults and violence against the texts of the album . On November 22, 2013, the Tiergarten District Court dismissed the indictment with reference to artistic freedom ; the prosecution appealed against the dismissal of the charges. In March 2014, the Berlin Regional Court rejected the prosecutor's complaint because the offense of sedition was not met and the insult was covered by artistic freedom.
Charts
Stress without a reason was offered on iTunes for 69 cents, rose to number 19 in Germany and was indexed the following week. The song made it to position 21 in the Austrian charts and stayed in the charts of the 75 best-selling singles in Austria for a total of two weeks. In Switzerland, Stress took 45th place for no reason and left the charts again the following week.
Music video
In the music video you can see the rappers Shindy and Bushido rapping on the roof of a parking garage in Berlin-Charlottenburg. Incidentally, a male is dragged into a car and driven onto the roof. Once on the roof, the rappers open the trunk and look at the person. After the rappers are no longer in sight, another person, played by Ali Bumaye , comes and pours gasoline over the car. At the end of the video, he lights a cigarette and throws it at the car.
The music video was online on YouTube for just under two days before it was banned. In those two days it could get a million views.
Since June 6, 2015, the music video can be seen again on the official Bushido channel.
Stress with a reason
As a result of the indexing of Stress Without Reason and three other tracks on the album NWA , the latter was re-released under the title NWA 2.0 . The indexed titles have been replaced. Instead of Stress Without Reason , the album therefore contained the song Stress with Reason . This is introduced with the music of Stress without Reason and is designed as a continuation of Stress without Reason , but then uses a different beat and, in addition to Bushido, which is again represented with a verse, features a guest contribution by the rapper Arrest Warrant .
In contrast to stress without a reason , stress with a reason replaces the putative names of several people with spaces during Bushido's stanza. However, at individual concerts of the AMYF / NWA tour 2013, these spaces were replaced by real names. On the one hand, a diss against rapper Kay One can be heard: "and Kay becomes the very first dead German rap star". In addition, Casper is also dissed as an emo punk , who should ram a knife into his throat. It is not entirely clear whether Farid Bang may have been insulted as well. Bushido wrote on Twitter that “everything is cool” with Farid Bang.
Stress with reason was ranked 21st in the charts in Germany. In Austria the song reached number 27 and in Switzerland it was able to position itself at number 31. The song stayed in the charts for a week in all three countries.
