action

Melody is young, pretty and unattached. She longs for adventures, including sexual ones, and for dream beaches under the southern sun. So she gets on the next plane and flies to Mauritius. Her older cousin Rachel lives there in a very beautiful property. Rachel's husband is out and about and is currently losing himself extensively on a diving vacation with friends (and especially girlfriends).

The equally blonde and naive Melody can be quickly captured by the exotic, tropical surroundings and is not averse to the erotic advances of her cousin. What her Octavio can do, Rachel has been able to do for a long time. In the crisp loverboy Alain, she keeps a younger lover who comes to visit one weekend. Melody immediately falls in love with him, and both end up in bed a little later ...

Reviews

In the lexicon of international films it says: “Soft porn with an exotic postcard aesthetic and unbearable sentimental organ music; Between the blurred erotic "wrestling matches" an island volcano is boiling appropriately. "

The November 1978 issue of the film magazine Cinema wrote: “Director Hubert Frank and cameraman Franz X. Lederle shot this film on the island of dreams: Mauritius - without a lot of script but with a lot of love. And with a volcanic eruption, underwater fighting, a lot of blonde, a lot of brown. Everything for connoisseurs. "

In the film's large personal dictionary , Melody in Love was one of the "soft sex strips of the most stupid design" in which Sascha Hehn appeared in abundance from 1970 onwards.
