Meri Koivisto

Meri Koivisto (* 1977 in Ylitornio ) is a Finnish actress and dancer .

Life

From 1997 to 1999 Meri Koivisto trained as a dancer at the Turku Conservatory. In the year of her graduation, she attended an acting school in Lahti until 2000, then the European Theater Institute Berlin from 2002 to 2005 , which she graduated from. She also completed several workshops, including the so-called Meisner training.

She gained her first stage experience in 2000 at the Lahden kansanopisto theater in Lahti, after which Koivisto was mostly on smaller Berlin stages such as the club theater, the Tiyatrom , the Berliner Arbeiter-Theater , the theater discounter or the Acker Stadt Palast.

Occasionally Koivisto also works in front of the camera. In addition to numerous short film productions, she was featured in the Tatort episode Mir san jetz da wo's weh tut , the 25th anniversary of the detective duo Batic and Leitmayr .

Meri Koivisto won various audience awards in several cities. She works as a freelancer and lives in Berlin.
