Meta Niederkorn

Meta Niederkorn-Bruck (* 2. March 1959 in Vienna as a meta Bruck ) is an Austrian historian .

Life

After graduating from the Stiftsgymnasium Melk in 1978, she studied history , musicology and German at the University of Vienna and received her doctorate in philosophy in 1986 . From 1983, after passing the state examination and being awarded membership of the Institute for Austrian Historical Research , she was university assistant under Herwig Wolfram . In 2000 she completed her habilitation in medieval studies and historical auxiliary sciences at the University of Vienna and was appointed associate professor in the same year .

She has been married to the historian Jan Paul Niederkorn since 1986 . You have two children.
