Micha Guttmann

Micha Guttmann (* 1947 in Berlin ) is a German lawyer , journalist and coach for dealing with the media.

Life

Guttmann was born in the Berlin district of Wedding and grew up in Charlottenburg . After studying law and an additional course at the Film and Television Academy in Berlin , Guttmann initially worked as a television journalist for the broadcaster Free Berlin and RTL in Luxembourg . His further journalistic career led him in 1985 as editor of the program group Zeitgeschehen, Recht und Justiz for Westdeutscher Rundfunk (WDR) . There he was u. a. worked as a television presenter and foreign correspondent for ARD in New York .

From 1968 to 1970 he was - with a short interruption - a member of the board of the Federal Association of Jewish Students in Germany and from 1988 to 1992 General Secretary of the Central Council of Jews in Germany . He was a member of the representative assembly of the Jewish community in Berlin .

Micha Guttmann works as a lawyer in Cologne . Since 1998 he has specialized in media consulting and media training.

Awards

In 1995 Guttmann and the journalist of the Frankfurter Rundschau , Ferdos Forudastan , were awarded the press prize of the German Lawyers' Association for their journalistic activities .
