Michael Albinus
Michael Albinus "dantiscus" (* 1610 in Pröbbernau , Danzig ; † 1653 in Danzig) was a preacher and poet . He was born in Pröbbernau (Pribbenau) on the Spit in the city republic of Danzig. His father Johannes Albinus was employed as a preacher in Pröbbernau.
Albinus Aus Preussen described the lessons with Johannes Plavius , who had moved from Thuringia to Danzig and was there in the circle of Danzig Baroque poetry. In 1638 Michael Albinus received a position as a deacon at the old town St. Catherine's Church in Danzig.
He died in Danzig in 1653 during a plague epidemic.
