Michael Ammon

Michael Ammon (born July 22, 1988 in Selb ) is a German chef .

Career

From 2006, Ammon completed an apprenticeship as a restaurant specialist at the Gasthaus Grainer with Christian Grainer in Kirchdorf (one Michelin star) and from 2012 an apprenticeship as a cook at the Landhaus Feckl with Franz Feckl in Ehningen (one Michelin star). A visit to the JRE Elite School in Koblenz followed, as well as training to become a wine specialist. Then he moved to the Blauer Bock restaurant in Munich with Hans-Jörg Bachmeier .

In 2016 he started his own business at Gasthaus Jakob in Perasdorf , together with his partner and brother as a sommelier. In 2020 the Gasthaus Jakob was awarded a Michelin star.
