Franz Feckl

Franz Feckl (born November 17, 1955 in Obertaufkirchen ) is a German chef .

Career

After training at the Jägerhof in Mühldorf am Inn , Feckl went to Du Theater in 1977 with Ernesto Schlegel in Bern , Switzerland and in 1978 for Tantris (two stars in the Michelin Guide ) with Eckart Witzigmann and Heinz Winkler in Munich . After the master craftsman's examination in 1981, he moved to the Hotel Walters Hof in Kampen (Sylt) in 1981 and to goldsmithing in Castrop-Rauxel in 1983 . In 1985 he became the owner and head chef at Schloss Höfingen in Leonberg , which was awarded a Michelin star.

Since 2000 he has been the owner and head chef at Landhaus Feckl in Ehningen , which has also been awarded one star in the Michelin Guide.
