Life

Born on the west coast of the United States , Bendetti enjoyed much of his training as an actor at the Neighborhood Playhouse in New York City on the east coast of the United States . After graduating there, he found his first engagements in film and television in 1988, when he played an insignificant supporting role in the 1988 mafia film Dark Angel . That same year, Bendetti played a leading role in the film Screwball Hotel . After appearing in an episode of One Father Too Many (1989) and Doogie Howser, MD (1990), he had another film role in The Great Earthquake in LA in 1990 , in which, however, he played only a minor character. In the same year, he made it into the cast of the television series 21 Jump Street - Tatort Klassenzimmer, which had been running since 1987, and was one of the main characters in a total of 20 episodes until the series ran out the following year.

His role as Officer Anthony "Mac" McCann was also the most successful for him in his entire acting career. This was followed by only a few short appearances in television series and films such as Baywatch - The Lifeguards of Malibu (1992; 1 episode), In the Bann des Voodoo (1992), Foxy Fantasies (1994; 1 episode) and Amanda and the Extra-Terrestrial . After that, it remained quiet around the former "21 Jump Street" star for around five years before he appeared in a video production of Red Shoe Diaries , under which the name Foxy Fantasies was in the United States, in 2000 . The video, titled Red Shoe Diaries 14: Luscious Lola, was also his last notable production. Around the same time he ended his active career as an actor and film producer. The time between 1995 and 2000 was only interrupted by Bendetti's participation in the film Dream Couple Against Will (1998), in which he worked as executive producer alongside Michael DeLuise , with whom he had previously worked several times, and Scott Stephens . Bendetti currently lives in Los Angeles , the second largest city in the United States, and in nearby Santa Monica .
