Michael C. Busch

Michael C. Busch (born January 4, 1957 in Coburg ) is a German SPD politician . He was from 2008 to 2018 District Administrator of the district Coburg and since 2018 Member of the Bavarian Parliament .

Life

Michael C. Busch grew up with his three siblings Gottfried, Peter and Eva in the Coburg region. His father Helmut Busch was an upholsterer and decorator. His mother Magda Busch (née Mlynek) worked as a clerk. After attending the Albertinum grammar school in Coburg , he was a temporary soldier with the Army Aviation Supply Squadron 265 Roth b. Nuremberg ( staff sergeant ) and with the medical training battalion 851 Munich. He also completed vocational training as a state-recognized nurse and office clerk. He then worked as managing director of the Coburg Youth Association . He put this activity in 2008 after his election as district administrator of the district Coburg down.

In the years 1984-1988 bush was a juror at the District Court of Coburg and from 1988 to 1992 at the district court of Coburg.

Busch has been the bearer of the Frankenwürfel since 2015 .

Michael C. Busch has been married to Daniela Busch (née Bansemir) since 1977. With her he has a son and a daughter. He lives in the community of Ebersdorf near Coburg .

Michael C. Busch is a member of the SPD . From 1984 he was a member of the local council in his home town of Ebersdorf near Coburg . From 1990 to 1996 he was third mayor and from 1996 to 2002 second mayor of the municipality . He has been a member of the Coburg District Council since 1990 , which elected him from 1996 to 2002 as one of the other deputies of the Coburg District Administrator. On March 16, 2008, he prevailed in the runoff election to the district administrator against the then State Secretary and CSU candidate Jürgen W. Heike . In the first ballot, neither Busch nor Heike could achieve an absolute majority. From May 1, 2008 to November 6, 2018, he was the district administrator. In the state elections in Bavaria in 2018 , he entered the 18th Bavarian state parliament and resigned from his position as district administrator. Busch is a member of the Committee on Labor and Social Affairs, Youth and Family and the Committee on Health and Care.
