Michael Damian

Michael Damian (born April 26, 1962 in Bonsall , California ; actually Michael Damian Weir ) is an American actor , singer and producer . His best-known role is that of Danny Romalotti in the soap opera Shadow of Passion , which he embodied from 1981 to 1998 and then in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2008, 2012 and 2013.

Career

Damian's music career began in his family formation The Weirz , who released two studio albums in 1975 and 1979. After an appearance in American Bandstand in 1981, he received a lot of support for the publication of his cover version of the song She did it by Eric Carmen , which was also accompanied by his image as Danny Romalotti in the soap opera Shadow of Passion and so the success failed to materialize.

After twelve years as Danny Romalotti in Shadow of Passion, he got the lead role of Joseph in Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat . With the lead role he filled the box office of the Minskoff Theater in Manhattan .

Musically a major success was his cover version of the David Essex classic Rock On , which is also the soundtrack of the film Dream a Little Dream and the subsequent releases could not follow the success. He made his debut as a director in the comedy In the Heat of LA. Other films by him as a director were A Horse for Moondance , Flicka 2 - Friends For Life, Marley & Me 2 - The Naughty Puppy In The World, Flicka 3 - Best Friends and A princess for Christmas . In 2012 he also directed and wrote the screenplay for The Sweeter Side of Life , which aired on the Hallmark Channel on January 19, 2012 .
