Michael Fischl (born June 6, 1924 in Haselbach ; † June 10, 2005 in Tittling ) was a German politician of the non-partisan voter association (ÜW) and from 1975 to 1987 mayor of the Tittling market .

Life

After an apprenticeship at the post office and military service, Michael Fischl came to Tittling in 1947 and initially worked as head of the Tittling post office ( postmaster ) and then as a training manager at the Deutsche Bundespost .

In addition to his professional activity, he was involved in local self-government and was elected to the local council in 1966 . From 1975 to 1987 he was the first mayor of the Tittling market.

After retiring, he devoted himself to research into the local history of the Dreiburgenland and his hometown. The results of his work can u. a. read in 13 booklets of the archive he edited for the Dreiburgenland .

During this time he was also involved in the Bavarian State Association for Family Studies eV and published specialist articles on local history and genealogical topics, etc. a. in the sheets of the Bavarian State Association for Family Studies .
