Michael Flemming (born December 1, 1965 in Bad Nauheim , Hessen ) is a former German ice hockey player . He was a striker in the ice hockey Bundesliga, among others .

career

Flemming began in 1983 his career with his hometown club, at the time in the hockey league settled EC Bad Nauheim . In the following year he rose with the team in the 2nd ice hockey Bundesliga , but moved a season later to the Mannheim ERC . There he played for three years and was German ice hockey runner-up in the 1986/87 season . After 117 games for the Mannheim team , he joined the EHC Freiburg for two years and then played for the Düsseldorfer EG for two years . There he celebrated his greatest successes and won the German ice hockey championship in 1991 and 1992 . Flemming then left Düsseldorf in the direction of Krefeld to the Krefeld EV . He also played there for two years and then accepted a contract offer from ESG Füchse Sachsen Weißwasser / Chemnitz , which had qualified for the newly founded DEL in 1994 . After 44 games for the team from Saxony , he moved back to his hometown club, to change again after two years in 1998 to play for the Ratinger Ice Aliens for one year . Flemming then ended his career.
