Michael Harles
Michael Harles (born April 23, 1954 in Regensburg ) is a German radio and television presenter and author .

Shortly after his birth, the Harles family moved to Munich . Here he spent his childhood with four siblings.
Harles studied philosophy at the Munich School of Philosophy . He received acting lessons in Munich, Paris and New York . At the Bavarian Broadcasting Corporation , he trained as an artistic speaker.
Since 1981 he has worked for Bayerischer Rundfunk, initially on the radio as a newscaster and artistic speaker for other broadcasts. From 1988 he was active as a presenter of various programs on Bavarian television . These include "Bavaria - the magazine at noon", "Cabrio - the television magazine" and the entertainment show "Bavaria wins". From 2002 to April 2016, Harles was the presenter of the Bayernlos competition as part of the “ Abendschau ” on Bavarian TV.
Michael Harles is the presenter and author of the series "Melodies of the Mountains", which has been successful on Bavarian television and also on ARD since 1999. In it, mostly in the summer months, the most beautiful regions of the Alpine region with their traditions and customs are presented, framed by folk music by local performers. A variant of the series for the cold season are the "fireplace stories". The “Tavern Stories” deal with individual well-known inns.
He is the author and director of numerous television documentaries in the fields of culture, history and science. As a copywriter for entertainment programs and especially for the culinary magazines on Bavarian television, he was particularly successful with the "Schlemmerreisen". This also resulted in a series of books that he co-authored. He is also the author of several life guides.
Michael Harles has also been a media trainer and personal coach since 1998 . Here he prepares executives from politics, business and society for a successful media presence in terms of charisma , rhetoric and presentation. He is a co-owner of a film and television production company.
Michael Harles lives with his family in Munich.
