Michael Heinrich Reinhard (Junior)
Michael Heinrich Reinhard (born May 8, 1706 in Hildburghausen ; † March 17, 1767 ) was a German Protestant theologian.
Life
He was the son of the school principal at the time, Michael Heinrich Reinhard (senior) (1676–1732). Born in Hildburghausen, Reinhard spent his further youth in Pretzsch from 1713 . After finishing school there, he attended the state school in Meißen . Reinhard then studied theology in Leipzig and Wittenberg . Remaining in the latter city, he became an assistant at the Philosophical Faculty there in 1730. However, following his father's example, Reinhard accepted the post of rector at the Latin school in Torgau in 1733 . For health reasons, however, he gave up school and in 1742 moved to Belgern as senior pastor . In 1747 he was appointed superintendent in Belzig .
Reinhard wrote several publications in Latin on the town history of Torgau.
