Michael Imhof (born May 6, 1973 ) is a German radio and television presenter and photographer .

Life

Michael Imhof started at the SWF youth radio at the age of 15. In 1993 he switched to Bayern 3 , produced music, comedies, series and trailers for the ARD radio programs and became the German voice of ARTE . In the following years he moderated the Bayern 3 evening program Super 3 and, from 1996, the television show Bei Call Show , an interactive personality show with prominent guests on Bavarian television.

In 1997 Michael Imhof moved to WDR in Cologne , where he still moderates the morning broadcast on the radio station 1LIVE and - until the year 2000 - the big one live radio Sunday with no Noah Sow . This was followed by presentations on WDR television: Eins Live TV , Popkomm TV and 1LIVE Krone .

Since the introduction of double moderation in 2007 at 1LIVE , Michael Imhof has moderated the morning show Monday to Friday from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. together with Olli Briesch .

In 2011 the two opened the Mario Barth Show in the arena on Schalke. In 2013 Imhof was Robbie Williams' DJ "Support Act" .

In 2014, Imhof and Briesch were on tour with a stage program based on the 1LIVE original sound charts in 50 cities in North Rhine-Westphalia in 2016 . With this show, they have also been part of the 1LIVE Cologne Comedy Night XXL since 2014 .

In 2016 1LIVE produced a comedy web series with Briesch and Imhof, in which fictional off-air scenes from the studio are shown.

In 2017 Imhof and Briesch made a name for themselves with “# 1LIVE48”, where they moderated for 48 hours straight, supported by actor Elyas M'Barek , comedian Luke Mockridge or the band Querbeat .

In late summer 2018 they hosted the 1LIVE Box Unplugged, a three-hour pop radio program without music. Guests like Bosse , Roman Weidenfeller and Josh supported the two.

Michael Imhof also works as an event moderator, produces advertising campaigns, is a DJ , music producer and photographer .

He has been married since 2011.
