Michael James Shaw (born September 16, 1986 in New York City , New York ) is an American actor .

life and career

Michael James Shaw is from New York City and graduated from Vanguard High School in 2005. He then enrolled in a master's program at the Juilliard School , which he also successfully completed

He has been an actor since 2008 after appearing on an episode of The Wire series. This was followed by a number of roles in short films before he took on a recurring role as Papa Midnite in the series Constantine in 2014 , in which he could be seen until 2015. In 2015 he took on a supporting role as Agent Mike in the short-lived series Limitless . He took on guest roles in Roots , Blue Bloods - Crime Scene New York and Bull .

In 2016 he was seen in a supporting role in the comedy Wiener Dog . In 2018, he brought the figure of Corvus Glaive , an ally of the galactic conqueror Thanos, to life in Avengers: Infinity War , which he also voiced in the original, using motion capture processes . He also took on this role in the follow-up film Avengers: Endgame .

In 2019 he took on one of the leading roles as Aiden Shaw in the series Blood & Treasure - Cleopatra's curse .
