Michael Joseph Crane

Michael Joseph Crane (born September 8, 1863 in Ashland , Pennsylvania , USA ; † December 26, 1928 ) was auxiliary bishop in Philadelphia .

Life

Michael Joseph Crane received on 15 June 1889, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On August 20, 1921, Pope Benedict XV appointed him . as titular bishop of Curium and auxiliary bishop in Philadelphia. The Archbishop of Philadelphia, Denis Joseph Cardinal Dougherty , donated him episcopal ordination on September 19 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Trenton , Thomas Joseph Walsh , and the Bishop of Altoona , John Joseph McCort .
