Michael Nieberg (born October 13, 1966 in Dülmen ) is a German journalist and television producer .

Career

After training as an editor for the Allgemeine Zeitung Coesfeld , he worked as a springer for the Westfälische Nachrichten , as a freelance writer for television (telepublic television production, WDR , Rias TV) . Between 1987 and 1994 he was an author and editor for the German TV stations Radio Bremen , WDR, NDR , and MDR . At the same time he was studying humanities at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster .

In 1994 Nieberg founded 6w film and television production in Münster, which he has been running with Natascha Nieberg since 1995. Customers include WDR , NDR , ARD , zdf , RTL and stern-TV . Nieberg has specialized in consumer issues and investigative reports, and has directed over 60 longer documentaries and reports. He worked on behalf of Günther Jauch , Frank Plasberg , Steffen Seibert , Steffen Hallaschka , Christian Rach and Johannes B. Kerner for television programs. Because of the often socially relevant topics from the areas of economy and social politics (locusts as landlord, liquid manure in drinking water, plagiarism, scandals in the meat industry) Michael Nieberg is now also a speaker, moderator and panelist, and was also a guest on ARD in 2013 -Talk show "Günther Jauch".
