Michael Olson
Michael Fors Olson (born June 29, 1966 in Park Ridge , Illinois ) is an American clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Fort Worth .
Life
Olson received on 3 June 1994, the sacrament of Holy Orders . In 2011 he received his PhD in moral theology from the Accademia Alfonsiana in Rome .
On November 19, 2013, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Fort Worth . He was ordained episcopal by the Archbishop of San Antonio , Gustavo García-Siller MSpS , on January 29, 2014. Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Orange in California , Kevin William Vann , and the Archbishop Emeritus of Galveston-Houston , Joseph Anthony Fiorenza .
