Gustavo García-Siller MSpS (born December 21, 1956 in San Luis Potosí ) is Archbishop of San Antonio .

Life

Gustavo García-Siller joined the Order of Missionaries of the Holy Spirit , made his profession in 1975 and was ordained a priest on June 22, 1984 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him auxiliary bishop in Chicago and titular bishop of Oescus on January 24, 2003 . The Archbishop of Chicago, Francis Eugene Cardinal George OMI , donated him episcopal ordination on March 19 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Raymond Emil Goedert , Auxiliary Bishop in Chicago, and Ricardo Watty Urquidi MSpS, Bishop of Nuevo Laredo .

He was named Archbishop of San Antonio on October 14, 2010 and introduced to office on November 23 of the same year.
