Michael Elvers Tørnes (born January 8, 1986 in Herlev ) is a Danish football goalkeeper.
Career
Tørnes started playing football in the youth division of Herlev IF . Then he went to Farum BK , 2003 to Lyngby BK , where he also played in the professional team. Another year later he went to Brønshøj BK . Another year later he went to the Copenhagen suburb Brøndby IF . In 2006 he rose to the professional team. He made his first game for the professionals on October 25, 2009 in the Superliga game against Aalborg BK . From January to December 2014 he played for HJK Helsinki , then until August 2015 for Sandefjord Fotball . He was then under contract with Odense BK until June 2016 . In August 2016 he joined Vitesse Arnhem .
Tørnes is a former Danish junior international.
