Sandefjord Fotball is a football club from Sandefjord , Vestfold , Norway . The club was created on September 11, 1998 from a merger of the clubs IL Runar and Sandefjord Ballklubb . The home is the Sandefjord Arena and offers 6,000 seats.
In 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010 and 2015 Sandefjord played Fotball in the Tippeligaen , the highest Norwegian league. In the 2015 season, however, the team was only able to score 16 points after 30 match days, was at the bottom of the table and was thus relegated straight back to the 1st division. With a 2nd place the direct rise to the 2017 season was achieved.
