Michael Vlatkovich

Michael Pierre Vlatkovich (born May 4, 1951 in St. Louis , Missouri ) is an American jazz trombonist , composer , arranger and band leader .

Live and act

Vlatkovich moved to Los Angeles in 1973 and worked with Bobby Rodriguez and Ian Whitcomb in the 1970s , with whom he first recorded. Around 1981 he recorded his self-titled debut album. In the following years he worked with Vinny Golias Large Ensemble, Brian Setzer , the Rova Saxophone Quartet , Bryan Adams , Bobby Bradford , Gerry Hemingway and his own ensembles, in which u. a. Rob Blakeslee played. He has also worked on a number of film soundtracks. In the field of jazz he was involved in 111 recording sessions between 1973 and 2013.
