The Michaelskapelle is a Roman Catholic chapel in Seemannsmühle , a district of the market town of Pleinfeld in the central Franconian district of Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen . The building is registered under the monument number D-5-77-161-110 as an architectural monument in the Bavarian monument list.

The path chapel , consecrated to Archangel Michael , is located directly on Staatsstraße 2224 opposite the Seemannsmühle 2 property (the mill building) at a height of 369 meters above sea ​​level . The building, made of red sandstone blocks, is a small, massive gable roof building with a glare gable . It was built in the 18th century.

A heavily weathered statue of Archangel Michael stands in a niche above the entrance. Inside there is an image that shows Jesus on the Mount of Olives. The chapel is badly weathered and in need of renovation, the plaster has crumbled in places.
