Mikhail Alexejewitsch Tschipurin ( Russian Михаил Алексеевич Чипурин ; English Mikhail Chipurin ; born November 17, 1980 in Moscow ) is a Russian handball player .

The 1.90 meter tall and 105 kilogram heavy cyclist was under contract with Medvedi Chekhov from 2002 to 2013 and won the championship every season. Before that, he played for CSKA Moscow . With these clubs he played in the EHF Champions League from 2000/01 to 2012/13 . In 2005/06 he won the European Cup Winners' Cup . In the summer of 2013, he moved to the Macedonian club RK Vardar Skopje , with whom he won the championship in 2015, the cup in 2014 and 2015 and the SEHA league in 2014. For the 2015/16 season he signed a contract with the French club US Ivry HB .

Michail Tschipurin scored 505 goals in 208 international matches for the Russian national team (as of December 2016) and was in the squad for the 2014 and 2012 European handball championships . Before that, he took part in the 2010 European Handball Championship and the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens.
