Michal Kubaliak (born July 18, 1993 ) is a Slovak biathlete .

Career

Michal Kubaliak took part in four Biathlon Junior World Championships between 2011 and 2014 . In ten individual races he was only able to reach the top 40 in 2011 in Nové Město na Moravě as 35th of the individual and in 2014 as 29th of the individual, 31st of the sprint and 40th of the pursuit race in Presque Isle . In Martell , Kubaliak won the silver medal with Paulína Fialková , Lucia Simová and Tomáš Hasilla in the mixed relay race of juniors at the 2011 Summer Biathlon World Championships . He also started at the junior races of the European Biathlon Championships in 2012 in Osrblie and in 2014 in Nové Město na Moravě, the best result here was a 15th place in the sprint of Nové Město.

In 2013 in Obertilliach he started in the IBU Cup for the first time and finished 81st in the sprint race. At the start of the 2014/15 season , he improved his best performance in a sprint in Beitostølen up to a 61st place. Towards the end of the preseason he also entered his first men's championship race at the European Championships. For the relay race in Nové Město he was appointed to the Czech EM relay alongside Michal Šíma , Henrich Lonsky and Peter Kazár , and with this he was 16.
