Michele Paolucci (born February 6, 1986 in Recanati ) is an Italian football player .

Career

In the club

After growing up in the youth of Juventus Turin , Michele Paolucci was loaned to Ascoli Calcio in the summer of 2006 . He made his Serie A debut on September 10, 2006 and scored six goals for Ascoli in his first professional season. Remarkable was the statement of Nedo Sonetti , the coach of Ascoli, who commented on a brace by Paolucci against FC Messina : "This boy reminds me of van Basten ."

In the summer of 2007, Udinese Calcio bought 50% of its transfer rights. In Udine , however, the striker was rarely used and finally loaned out to Atalanta Bergamo . The season ended disappointingly for Paolucci - he didn't even score in eleven league games.

On June 24, 2008, Udinese's agreement with Juventus Turin was extended to 2013. Then he was awarded again, this time to Catania Calcio . With the Sicilians Paolucci earned a regular place and played his best season so far.

In July 2009, AC Siena bought 50% of the transfer rights to Paolucci from Juventus for 3.5 million euros.

After further stays in Italy and Romania, after 14 appearances for the US Ancona 1905 in the second division, he finally moved to Malta to FC Floriana in January 2018 .

In the national team

He played in various Italian youth selections. Paolucci played his only game for the Italian U-21s on December 12, 2006 against Luxembourg.
