Michele Claudio Rizzi (born April 13, 1988 in Stuttgart ) is an Italian-German soccer player . He will be under contract with VfL Wolfsburg's second team from the 2018/19 regional league season .

Career

Rizzi comes from the youth of the Stuttgarter Kickers , for whose U-19 he played in the U-19 Bundesliga in 2006/07 . Then he was first assigned to the second team of the Kickers, in which he fought for a regular place in the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg . In 2009, Rizzi moved up to the first team under coach Dirk Schuster and from then on played in the Regionalliga Süd . He made his first-team debut on August 8, 2009 in a goalless draw against SC Freiburg's second team . Rizzi scored his only goal for Stuttgart on May 15, 2010 in a 3: 3 game against KSV Hessen Kassel . On presentation by Vincenzo Marchese , he scored the goal to make it 2-1 in the 20th minute.

For the 2011/12 season Rizzi moved to the league competitor SG Sonnenhof Großaspach . He made his debut for his new club under coach Alexander Zorniger on August 7, 2016 in a 2-0 win against SC Pfullendorf . He scored his first competitive goal for Sonnenhof Großaspach in a 3-1 win against SC Freiburg II on September 25, 2011 with the 1-0 goal. He finished the 2013/14 season with SG Sonnenhof Großaspach in the Regionalliga Südwest as the first in the table and qualified for the promotion games for the 3rd division . In the promotion games, Rizzi and his teammates prevailed against the second team of VfL Wolfsburg and rose to the third division. Rizzi made his debut in the 3rd division on July 27, 2014 in a 2-1 win against SC Fortuna Köln ; He scored his first goal in the 3rd division on August 5, 2014 in a 1-1 draw against his former club Stuttgarter Kickers with the 1-1 goal in the 45th minute.

For the 2016/17 season, Rizzi moved to Preußen Münster , where he became the first player in the history of the third division to score four goals after being substituted in for the second half.

In June 2018 he moved to the Regionalliga Nord for the second team at VfL Wolfsburg .
