Michelle Morgan (born July 16, 1981 in Calgary , Alberta ) is a Canadian actress , film director and film producer .

life and career

Michelle Morgan has had roles in television series such as Final 24 , Across the River to Motor City , The L Word - When Women Love Women, and Stargate Atlantis . In the thriller Road Rage (1999) she played the role of Rebecca alongside Yasmine Bleeth and Jere Burns . In the horror film Diary of the Dead (2007) she acted in the role of Debra Moynihan . Since 2007 she has played the role of Samantha Louise "Lou" Fleming in the Canadian series Heartland - Paradise for Horses .

Morgan has been married to Derek Tisdelle since June 30, 2012 and has a daughter (* 2011) and a son (* 2013) with him.
